Historical The Quest List Post 95

"Be careful what you do, or you might learn something."

background:
-- While reading a book on screenwriting, I found something interesting. It
says that one should not ask "why", but rather "what", because if you ask
"why" you will probably come up with half a dozen answers, and they will all
be right. Interesting how a word can make such a difference, neh?
-- I have realized that I have been operating "on the edge of burnout" for
about two years now (too much work, not enough people), and I'm tired of it.
So the question comes to mind "What are various ways of dealing with
stress?"

Unfortunately my list is pretty short.

I could be wrong, but this seems like a perfect question for a Toshin-do
list. After all, one can not endure if one "burns out". And I'm pretty sure
that our martial ancestors had a few stresses of their own ...

So my question: What are some ways of dealing with stress, and what are the
various stresses associated with them? (Things based on eastern medicine are
more than welcome, though may be more appropriate to a private e-mailing.
You can assume a basic knowledge of Chi/Ki, meridians, and pressure points.)

Example:
Go to the Gym: Very good for stress relief, especially for those who spend
most of their waking life in front of a computer.
Stresses: if your not used to working out, walking through the door can be
the biggest stress. One should also consider the physical stresses involved.

(note: I won't be offended if someone re-does the example).

Thanks
